Welcome to Shadow Eros’ Blog!
Day 000

Mood: Excited

Listening To: Nothing (yet)

Drinking: Coffee ~D

Eating: Donuts

Welcome to Raftel Academy! I am your unofficial, sarcastic, self-designated and fabulous virtual tour guide, Shadow Eros. For all of you newbie students, I only say this: you poor, poor souls.

I’ve been to the hellhole paradise known as Raftel Academy since I was a mere munchkin in kindergarten. I know all there is to know, and all of my notes are under the “Survival Tips” tab. In there, I have my personalized maps of the three campuses, a list of all of the teachers (and which teachers to avoid at all costs), and just basic tips to survive the school year.

I do advise that all elementary-grade students should leave this blog at once. I do not want their damaged innocence on my conscience. Leave. NOW. Go on, shoo, shoo.

Raftel Academy’s supreme ruler is Principal Sengoku. There are three vice principals, and each one is in charge of a different campus. V.P. Kizaru is in charge of the munchkins, V.P. Aokiji is in charge of Junior High, and the strict, evil V.P., Akainu, is the High school ruler. He’s crazy. Do not get on his bad side. Though I doubt he has a good side, so… Just don’t let him know you exist.

I think the only teachers who warrant my attention is the P.E. teachers. Mr. Garp is the geezer in charge of the Junior High P.E. He is a MONSTER. Please, survive his class. the High school teacher is Mr. Dracule. (God, Save our souls).

I will be posting my blog daily, FYI. I hope you all have a survivable year at Raftel!

Shadow Eros, signing off <3

You smiled smugly at your computer screen. You were in your dorm room at Raftel Academy, a boarding school that took up an entire island. You'd been going to Raftel since you were in kindergarten, and, being one of many orphans at the school, stayed there during the summer. Many "families" were made by younger students, but by the time you were in junior high, everyone made new groups of friends, "crews". For you, your family included your best friends, Marco, Ace, and Thatch. Ace's "brothers", Sabo and Luffy, were fairly close as well.

You were a good hacker, and used it to created Shadow Eros' Blog in eighth grade. Every student had an account on the school website, where they could post statuses, communicate with others, etc. Clubs, like Band and Journalism, had permission to make a blog to keep members updated. You hacked into the website and made a new blog, username Shadow Eros, and made it impossible to be taken down. You hacked into the security cameras, which was so easy you wanted to complain to Principal Sengoku. You used the cameras to get all sort of information about the goings-on of the academy, and created the ultimate gossip blog. You purposefully took as many electives and extra-curriculars as possible. That way, you'd seem too busy. Plus, you just really, really like band.

Despite most residents of the school being orphans, not many actually stayed during the summer. You were one of those few, and couldn't wait to see your friends again. Your roommate, Nami, hadn't arrived yet, so you decided to go to the shopping district and get some more coffee.

While walking to the shopping district, you lamented the fact that, once again, the academy denied your plea (which was displayed on your blog, your school account, and several of your best friends' accounts) to get rid of the school uniforms. The only upside, you thought, was that the guys looked hot in them.

You went to your favorite cafe, and grinned at the site of your fave hotties: Marco, Thatch, and Ace. “Yo, (Name),” Marco said. “I got back earlier this morning.”

You pouted. “I hate having to stay here all summer.”

Thatch grinned as you sat down. “It’s all right,” he said. “We’re here, and chaos will ensue.” You rolled your eyes, and Ace smirked. Marco, Thatch, and Ace have been your best friends since elementary school, even though you were a year younger.

You stretched your arms. “I need some coffee, ASAP,” you declared. “I also need Lil and Jaz. They managed to go to the Continent during the summer, you know.”

“Yeah, we know,” Ace said. “I literally ran into Lil in Alabasta this summer.” The Continent was divided into four main “districts”, divided by a large wall, the Red Line, and a mountain range, the Grand Line. Alabasta was a very important state in the Grand Line. One of your other friends, Vivi, lived there.

“Ace, I still think you and Lil should get together,” you said, as you went to the counter. Once you got your coffee, you sat back down, and you noticed Ace had waited for you to return before scoffing.

“Sure, we’re friends, but right now, I don’t want to date anyone.” He rose an eyebrow. “Besides, I thought you wanted her to go out with Sabo?”

You snorted. “That was until they started fighting twenty-four-seven. Jaz jokes about them a lot, but it’s a lost cause, unless I can figure out what happened between them.” You assumed it was something that happened either before you became friends with them, or something that happened while you were stuck in this hellhole over the summer. “Besides, you are closer to her. And she is a knockout, according to several nameless seniors and juniors.”

“Again, I’m not interested at the moment,” Ace insisted.

You turned to Thatch and Marco, ecstatic to talk about gossip. “What about you two? Got a thing for anybody?”

Marco laughed and shook his head, while Thatch choked on his coffee. “Hey, watch it, Pompadour Man!” you snapped, standing up to avoid getting wet.

“(Name), come on,” Marco said, pounding on Thatch’s back. “Let’s not bother right now, and tomorrow’s gonna be a long day. Let’s talk about it tomorrow during lunch.”

You rolled your eyes. It was nearing curfew, but you were so ready to start the school year. And this year, you were going to add something new to your blog, that will require a lot of your Gift.

This is the first chapter of "Miss Matchmaker", a collab between AwkwardAxolotl and myself. The second chapter will be posted on her page.

EDIT: A certain idiot (me) forgot to add the rest of the chapter. This is what I get for typing half on StashWriter and the other half on Google Docs.
